New cartoons keep on comin'

I've got another brand new Damn You Banana cartoon up on the site. Now . . . discussion. My wife- Gina- was sort of perturbed by this drawing. After I asked her what "perturbed" meant, I asked her what this cartoon had done to make her "perturbed." Her response was chilling in it's simplicity: In all of the other DYB cartoons (she says DYB; Gina doesn't swear) Banana is knowingly a bastard to Apple. He purposefully and meliciously ruins Apple's life, little by little. In this cartoon, all he did was drink. And when you're drunk, you can't always control what you're doing. Apparently to Gina, whatever you do while drunk is OK, and you really aren't at fault. I disagree. Anything to add by anyone anywhere?

I disagree with Gina, too. I say, when you're drunk, you're even MORE responsible for your actions.
I say it depends on who buys the alcahol. If (s)he purchased it themselves, then they are responsible. If some one else supplied the drinks, you *are* obligated to consume. Ergo, they are responsible for your actions, and thus willingly become your 'babysitter'.
